Italian Ambassador and Special Delegate to Somalia, Andrea Mazzella, condemns in the strongest terms yesterday’s terrorist attack in Bosaso against Puntland security forces, that killed seven and injured dozens.
“Such coward and heinous attack will neither weaken the people and Government of Puntland in their firm stance against terrorism and in favour of peace and stability, nor will manage to divert the regular electoral process in Puntland from taking place”, said
Ambassador Andrea Mazzella. “The International Community, repeated times, showed its determination to support Puntland authorities in achieving peaceful, credible, transparent and democratic elections and will keep offering all the necessary support to the local authorities to achieve this fundamental goal”.
